1990 LOTUS ESPRIT SE SCCFC20B8LHF65764 24,967KM This is a truly excellent example of the Lotus Esprit SE which was the first Esprit after the Peter Stevens re-design, from the Giugaro original. The second generation Esprit came out in 1987, and carried forward the 2.2L turbo-charged engine of the previous Turbo Esprit which produced 215hp. The SE version added the ‘Chargecooler’ which is an air-to-water intercooler which boosted power to 264hp, and gave the Esprit Turbo supercar performance; 0-100km/hr which is 4.6seconds and over 260kph (160mph) top speed. This particular car has covered only 25,000km, and is a one-owner Canadian car from a prominent collector. The car has been serviced exclusively by Dave Turner from Lone Star Mercedes Benz. It has never had any paintwork, and has been gently used. The car has just been through the shop at Lone Star Mercedes, and everything works perfectly.

This is an example of the ‘964’ version of the Porsche 911, which was produced from 1989 to 1993, and was the first major evolution of the original 911 sports car. New for this version, Porsche offered the Tiptronic Automatic transmission as well as the option of all wheel drive (Carrera 4). The engine displacement was increased from 3.2 to 3.4 L, and the power went up to 250hp.
This particular 911 is the two wheel drive Cabriolet version with the Tiptronic transmission. This is an excellent driving Porsche that offers a true 911 driving experience for a fraction of the cost of a late model example. This car has gone through the shop at the Distinctive Collection (Calgary Aston Martin, Bentley, Fisker and Spyker), and while no major problems were found, the tech’s did notice a couple of minor oil leaks and a broken rear tail light. DC did not service the vehicle.
