Description
OPTIONS / NOTABLE ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT / MODIFICATIONS FROM ORIGINAL:
Has a Columbia two-speed vacuum shift differential (needs a control unit and vacuum lines installed). Also boasts Offenhauser flatheads and 6-volt electrical fuel pump. Has new 6-volt wiring and original working custom radio. During restoration, new master and wheel cylinders were installed, as well as a new dual exhaust system, front to back. All windshield and side glass replaced. Upholstery and headliner professionally replaced using age-appropriate materials. Mag wheels are not original to the vehicle. Was purchased without an engine; during restoration, it was fitted with one from a 1947 Mercury car which was running but changed for a modern engine.Front and back bumpers and grill have been rechromed. Body-off restoration and paint done professionally.
INTERESTING / IMPORTANT VEHICLE HISTORY AND SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS:Since its restoration, the vehicle has always been kept in a heated garage, has proudly been driven in local parades and at local Show and Shines, and has not been winter-driven.
