– In 1991 this Suburban began a lengthy body and paint restoration. All glass was removed and the entire vehicle was sandblasted and stripped to bare metal. All rust and damage was repaired and with just under 200 hours of bodywork. The complete vehicle was painted as well as the engine bay detailed. In 2010 the V8 engine was replaced with a 383 Stroker with a 425 hp and 450 ft lbs. of torque. It was mated to a Turbo 400 transmission with a shift kit and high speed stall converter. Edelbrock 750 carb was placed on a dual plane manifold. MSD distributor and wires were added as well as a mini high torque starter. Steering was converted to power and 4 wheel discs add additional stopping power. Electronic exhaust cut outs were added. The interior is comfortable and updated with many modern features. All new steering column and steering wheel add style as well as the Billet dash and custom 5” quad gauges.
