Description

OPTIONS / NOTABLE ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT / MODIFICATIONS FROM ORIGINAL:

It has a new battery with a cut-off switch to preserve the battery during storage, and the rims are all original. Truly a joy to drive, an incredible head-turner everywhere it is driven (especially throughout Calgary to all those who know this beauty's history), and an excellent financial investment for those who know - as the saying goes for investing in Rolls-Royces: If the top drops, the price goes up!

INTERESTING / IMPORTANT VEHICLE HISTORY AND SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS:

An extremely rare white-on-white 1980 Rolls Royce Corniche 2-Door Drophead (Convertible) Coupe with the L410 6.75L Rolls Royce Engine (the most loved and sought-after model Rolls Royce of this period). This car is a well-known and popular all-Calgary car with a very rich and interesting history. Originally bought in 1980 in Calgary by Mogens Smed whose wife had it reupholstered at DeGreeve Auto Upholstery in a beautiful bright white plush leather. The body was also painted a beautiful soft white, where the excellent workmanship is still clearly visible until and the high quality paint has remained in near-perfect condition until today. The vehicle was later bought in 2007 by Adam Jillood of Inter-Can Investments through Frank Sissons' Auction, who continued to maintain exceptional care of the vehicle as it had been since the first day it was sold. The body is rust free, never driven in anything but dry and sunny conditions, the engine starts every time the first time and runs strong and very smoothly without any issues or hesitation, the suspension and brake systems are in excellent working condition, and the motorized drop-top opens and closes perfectly (the leather cover for when the top is open is in perfect condition as well).
