Building on the spirit of the original, the new Boss was endowed with a 5.0L/444 HP high output V-8, a 6-speed manual transmission and 3.73 limited slip rear end. Suspension and aerodynamics were also refined through on-track development under real-world racing conditions, but Ford didn’t stop there. The next step was the Boss 302 Laguna Seca Edition, a distinctive and track-ready version limited to just 750 copies in 2012 and again in 2013 for a total of 1,500 cars.
