INTERESTING / IMPORTANT VEHICLE HISTORY AND SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS:

This was Porsche's first limited edition 924, labelled the Martini Edition, factory order number M426. Also known as the Championship Edition, it was a celebration vehicle of Porsche's racing triumphs and only 1000 of them were built! E19 was the option that signified the Martini Rossi Edition. It was distinguished by special Racing White paint and Martini Racing Stripe, echoing the look of the winning 935s and 936s, with extra wide 185/70 HR 14 tires on Racing White light alloy wheels, front and rear sway bars, genuine leather-covered steering wheel, red, white and blue Martini Rossi stripes on the outside and on the headrests, scarlet red carpets with seats of red corduroy inlays and blue piping, a special commemorative World Champion console plaque, plus three stereo speakers, one in front and two in back, fully retractable antenna and FM noise suppression kit. They were built from December 1976 through March 1977. The plaque on the center console celebrates the victories of the 1969, 70, 71 and 76 Martini Rossi 935 and 936 racing cars. Another unique thing about this car is the sunroof. It's a large removable piece in the center of the roof and it's considered a convertible top. The title lists this car as a convertible. It's not a typical convertible, but the removable section is a rather large portion of the roof of the car. This would be a nice car to add to your collection if you're a Porsche collector or racing buff! Restore it to its former glory or just put it in the garage and display as an original survivor car. Either way, it's not a car you see every day and would be a nice addition to someone's collection for a great price. A fun, little 4-speed Audi gear box 924! This car is in good survivor condition that runs and drives well. The dash has cracks in it, the seats have been sun damaged and faded, along with the rear carpet. The car has been parked since 1997. There is also a dent/wrinkle in the driver's side front fender and the car does show its age a bit, but you can be the judge from the pictures. I tried to get pictures of everything that I could to make sure that this car is depicted accurately. Comes with Title
